There are millions of insects. One group, the true bugs (Order Hemiptera) contains some 50,000 to 80,000 species. The same arrangement of sucking mouthparts characterizes these bugs. Some of the types of true bugs include planthoppers, treehoppers, leafhoppers, cicadas, moss bugs, shield bugs and assassin bugs.
